Sweat and Melt-Proof Makeup‏

Who doesn’t love summer! Vacations, longer days and fun nights make summer the most anticipated season. The only downside is that high heat can make your beautifully applied makeup melt right away. While I do encourage lighter makeup application during summer, I know some of you will still go full face, contouring and all. To keep all of your make up efforts intact, try these products.

Sweat Proof Makeup

Urban Decay Naked Palette

The original palette that started an obsession, features 12 shades that work for all seasons, but particularly summer. Virgin, Sin, Naked, Buck and Sidecar are perfect for everyday looks. Add the shimmer colors (Half Baked, Smog, Toasted and Creep) to dress it up and the darker colors (Hustle, Gunmetal, Darkhorse)  for a more dramatic effect. Don’t forget to add a shadow primer for maximum last.

 Estee Lauder Little Black Primer

One of the things I love most is that this primer is black unlike traditional lash primers that are white. Use it before putting on mascara to optimize the effects of your mascara. Apply as a top coat to make mascara long-wearing, water-resistant smudge free and flake free.

Urban Decay Perversion Mascara

This mascara never gets clumpy or make your lashes feel like porcupine needles. It lengthens, strengths and nourishes your lashes all while adding major volume.  Plus, it stay on for hours!

Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray

If you are serious (and I mean super serious) about your makeup staying on then Urban Decay’s Setting Spray is your must have. My recommendation is to use a very light coat all over and to use minimal pressure to the spay nozzle when applying. Just a little of the spray goes a long way!

Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Lipstick

With 16 beautiful colors to choose from, you are sure to find a color you love! Not only does it have a time-released moisture for maximum hydration but it also is shaped to make the application easy and precise.
