For the past couple of weeks, I have had the pleasure of reviewing Dr Owusu’s Revitalizing Facial Care Set. I focus on taking care of my skin and maintaining a clear, beautiful and even complexion and the 3 step set promised to give me just that. So, needless to say, I was excited to give each product a try.
Step 1: Exfoliate with the Revitalizing Facial Scrub
When I first opened the jar, the scrub didn’t look like a scrub at all, it looked spongy. My curiosity was sparked. After cleansing my skin, I began to take a little bit of the scrub out at a time and massage it into my face. The scrub is gentle, but effective in removing dead skin cells. After drying my face, my skin felt smooth and refreshed. Dr. Owusu recommends using it 1-2 times per week, but the scrub is gentle enough for a bit more frequent use, if you would like.
Step 2: Detoxify with the Facial Masque
I must admit that this masque has become on of my favorite skincare products to use! I applied a generous amount on my face and neck. Then the magic happened… You can feel the masque warm on your skin and pull out dirt and build up. It was every bit of amazing. I left in on for the recommend 20 minutes, then wiped it off with a damp cloth. My skin felt brand new!
Step 3: Mousturize with the Revitalizing Facial Serum
The serum is super lightweight and you only needs just a dab to spread over your face. It instantly hydrates your skin and adds a subtle glow. It’s a perfect product to use on those make-up free days.
