My Skincare Routine

After many years of trail and error, I now have my skincare routine down to a science. Each product addresses a specific skin care concern so lets jump right into the products and why I love them.

Skincare Routine

Step 1: Cleanse

To cleanse my skin, I use Vitamin E Facial Cleansing Bar from The Body Shop. It’s gentle, but super moisturizing and leaves my skin feeling soft.  2-3 times a week I use my Brown Sugar Scrub to exfoliate my skin. Read the DIY instructions here.

Step 2: Mask

3 times a week, I use either the Glo Therapeutics Refining Mask or the Natura Bisse Oxygen Mask. The refining mask helps to absorb oil, reduce pores and improve the texture of my skin. The Oxygen Mask helps to purify, hydrate and soften my skin.

Step 3: Treat

To help clear up the dark spots on my skin, I use SkinCeuticals Photo+. It’s excellent for breaking up hyper-pigmented spots on the surface of the skin and evening out the tone of the skin. The Phyto+ gel has really helped to make my skin radiant and even toned

Step 4: Moisturize

Natura Bisse Oxygen Cream helps to even out my skin tone and diminish the dark spots. It’s very lightweight and I only need just a tiny bit to moisturize my face.


What I love about my skin care routine is that it’s varied, but it works perfect for me. You certainly don’t have to use the same products that I use, but you should find a skincare routine that works for you and stick to it! You skin will beautiful even as you age if you take care of it!

If you have never gotten a facial before, I recommend you get one at least once in your life. Having a esthetician or dermatologist look at your skin will help you understand your skin type better.   1. Great skin care routine. I think using a good facial mask twice a week is essential to have and maintain beautiful skin. It’s fun to try out different masks to see what works best for your skin type as they can offer your skin a lot that serums and creams don’t.
