Detoxing is one of those things that we know is a good idea, but can be daunting trying to figure out the best method. Since summer is just around the corner, I wanted to kick start my slim down by doing a one day detox using Jus by Julie’s One Day Cleanse. Before I even started, I loved the fact that the juices are blended by hand so that you get the absolute best nutritional benefit. The juices are made to order then shipped directly to your front door. When my cleanse arrived, I opened the box to find 6 juices that sounded super tasty along with the Vanilla Probiotic Coffee I added on. Now it was time for the fun to begin! The night before I ate a light and healthy dinner since the Jus by Julie team recommends only doing the juices while you are on the cleanse. The bottles are numbered so there is no guessing as to which order to drink the juices in ( See, I told you it was easy!). My cleanse started with the Sweet Spin and ended with Xtreme Greens. Some over the counter juices can have more sugar in them than a sprinkled covered doughnut, but which Jus by Juile, I was presently surprised by the low calorie / low sugar blends. While the taste of all the juices were amazing, I have a special place in my heart for the PB and Jus and the X-Treme Greens. I could drink each other those everyday! The day after my cleanse, my body felt great and I lost 2 pounds. While weight loss wasn’t the primary goal, it is always a welcomed benefit. One of the big questions you might have for me is, “Did you feel hungry?” The answer is “Not at ALL!” With 6 juices and a coffee to drink, I started a new juice every 1 1/2 to 2 hours. By the time I got to Xtreme Greens I was very full, but wanted to finish out the cleanse in one day.
