In turn, your bones – including your spine – will become more resistant to injury.

 

Improve your posture

Finally, make sure you think about your posture. One of the biggest reasons why so many people in the West suffer from back trouble is that we sit at office desks for long periods of time. You should look at your posture, and make sure your back is as straight as possible and that both feet are flat on the floor. You might even benefit from using ergonomic furniture, which is designed to improve your posture. Or, you might find success by losing the chair altogether and try sitting on a stability ball instead.
