2014 Grammys Red Carpet

The Grammys are my favorite award show! I am a lover of all types of music and the performances are usually amazing. One of the things I love about the Grammys Red Carpet is the daring, fun looks the artists show up in. This year, the carpet was so safe! There were a few bad looks, but no shockers or OMG moments. In any event, let’s get right down to my picks for best and worst dresseed on the 2014 Grammys red carpet.

Best

Ciara in Emilio Pucci

Baby bump on the red carpet can be tough, but Ciara executed this look with perfection!

Taylor Swift in Gucci

An up-close view of this would be better, but the dress is actually a chain mail material. I love the new style direction Tay has taken over the last few red carpets! Bravo!

Chrissy Teigen in Johanna Johnson

Chrissy is serving up an amazing sequin moment!

Alicia Keys in Armani Privé

Alicia is giving us a bright, cheerful color on the carpet. Plus I love that she is showing off those beautiful curves!

Worst

Katy Perry in Valentino

I really hate this dress. Tulle+Music notes=disaster. Regardless of the fact that it’s Valentino, the dress needs to go.

Pharrell

I mean, geez. The hat, the track jacket, the jeans, the combat boots. It’s a mess for the red carpet. If he removed the hat and were just going to the grocery store or out for a date with his wife and child, then this would be appropriate.

Ariana Grande in Custom Aldo

Floral typically doesn’t work on the red carpet. Plus those shoes and stockings are just horrid! #MakeItGoAway

Erica Campbell
